Master Kush Product Description

Master Kush is an indica cross that was bred from two different landrace strains of the popular Hindu Kush indica strain. The strain originates from Amsterdam. It was and continues to be very popular in the coffee shops that populate the city. Master Kush has been the winner of numerous awards, including the High Times Cannabis Cup in both 1992 and 1993. The strain is 80% indica and 20% sativa, so it is most often categorized as an indica. This strain tests on average at 16% THC. At its most potent it tests at 20%. The strain’s CBD content is pretty low; it ranges from 0.1-.0.2%  It’s not the most potent strain out there, but don’t be fooled, this strain still packs a powerful punch.

Master Kush Strain Details and Aesthetics

Cured  buds are small and densely packed. Buds tend to be a variety of colors, usually dark green or purple depending on the environment the strain was grown in. The buds are sticky to the touch due to the thick layer of trichomes covering the buds. I would recommend using a grinder with this strain.

Master Kush Physiological Effects

Users can expect to feel deep relaxation, with some heaviness in the limbs. You can also expect to feel a little bit sleepy, especially if you take this strain in a concentrated form, such as in an edible. Dry eyes and dry mouth are to be expected, so drink plenty of water! You can also expect an increase in appetite.

Master Kush Psychological Effects

This strain is more euphoric than other indicas tend to be. After the initial euphoria wears off, you can expect to feel calm and happy. You’ll probably feel more creative, but you might have trouble motivating yourself to do creative projects. This strain will not make you feel paranoid.

Master Kush is Often Used to Treat…

Master Kush has a variety of medical uses. You can use it to treat depression, as well as insomnia and loss of appetite. It also makes a good pain reliever, but it’s not as effective as other strains are for this purpose. Master Kush also works for treating nausea and anxiety. People who suffer from chronic migraines love this strain.

Master Kush Flavor/ Aroma

Master Kush has a pungent, skunky aroma, with hints of pine. The taste pleasantly earthy and spicy, similar to cinnamon. The smoke is smoother than you would expect, in other words, it’s not a coughing strain.

I find that I enjoy this strain the most when smoking from a water piece, specifically a bubbler. Master Kush is best enjoyed in the evenings or right before bed. It’s not the best for social occasions, but you can enjoy it with a small group of friends.
